GREAT IDEAS NEED MONEY: writing winning proposals to pursue your dreams

Described by Forbes as the Nigerian Titan of Industry, Olorogun (Dr.) Michael Christopher Onajirhevbe Ibru, OFR, blazed the entrepreneurship trail. At 24, he had partnered with an expatriate and registered his first business, Laibru.

Within a very short period of time, he grew his business into a conglomerate of 25 companies, an outstanding feat in his time and a pacesetter for younger generations in Africa.

Michael Ibru has been fondly described as a philanthropist, visionary and serial entrepreneur whose watchword is excellence. He was a man who believed in entrepreneurship as a vehicle to progress and economic development.

To carry on the legacy of our great founder, the Michael and Cecilia Ibru University holds an annual memorial lecture in his honour.
