Digital Bridge Institute (DBI), the capacity building arm of the
National Communications Commission (NCC), held a 5-day hands-on
training (Advanced Digital Appreciation Programme for Tertiary
Institutions and Technological Development) to enlighten staff
and students of Michael and Cecilia Ibru University on how to use
the internet and office productivity tools effectively.
The training which commenced on Monday 23rd September 2019, held
at the University ICT center with Staff and Students represented
across the various departments and units.
During the training, the Digital Bridge Institute team lead by
Miss Monalisa Ochuko, Mr Chris Onyeose, and Mr Paul Philip Udoh,
provided participants with study packs to assist them while they
practice during their leisure.
Concluding the training, Mr. Chris Onyeose commended staff and
students for their effort and responsiveness throughout the
training. The Co-Founder Dr. Cecilia Ibru, appreciated the
National Communications Commission (NCC) for establishing DBI.
Dr. Cecilia Ibru stated that she was very impressed and grateful
for all that was provided for the training. “I look forward to
receiving the DBI team for further learning, I urge everyone
present to practice and build on what you have learned in the
past few days.”
