The Visitor/Co-founder, Dr. (Mrs.) Cecilia Ibru defined the purpose of the Black Tie event to the admiration of the enthusiastic audience. She noted that the event was coped for the British, when in those days men of the British were well dressed and women dressed in their beautiful gown. The men wore tie of whatever color that appealed to them but generally, it was black. Further, Dr. Ibru said the Black tie event is being observed in MCIU to raise international citizens. It is also a means to train citizens in the area of formal dressing, organization, orderliness and the way of eating formally. It was indeed a spectacular evening with awesome and beautiful presentations from both staff and students. We all look forward to such a remarkable event again.
